Shop β
The Shop tab has three parts: the Travelling Trader, extra loadouts and the Harbour Outfitter.
Travelling Trader β
- New stock every day at 00:00 UTC. Everyone sees the same five offers.
- What's sold: raw materials only, such as ore, logs, fish, herbs, fibres and salvage. There's one low-level offer, two mid-level and two high-level. The Trader never sells tonics, bait, Ledger-only materials or Tide Shards.
- Lots: each offer comes in lots, and you can buy up to 5 lots of each offer a day.
- Prices are about 2.5Γ what the items sell for. The Trader saves you time; it's never a way to make gold.
Trader standing β
Gold you spend with the Trader adds up over time and unlocks rewards:
| Total spent | Reward |
|---|---|
| 100,000 | Regular title |
| 500,000 | Haggler title and the Driftwood avatar frame |
| 10,000,000 | Merchant title and the Brass avatar frame |
| 50,000,000 | Trade Prince title and the Tradewinds avatar frame |
Show a title in Profile β Titles, and a frame in Profile β Name style.
Loadouts β
- What a loadout is: a saved set of combat gear and trinkets.
- Where: manage them in Bank β Equipment, which shows everything you're wearing and your food. Combat skill pages have a quick switcher too. The Shop is where you buy more.
- Bank space: gear in a loadout you aren't wearing stays in that loadout, so it doesn't use bank slots.
- Food carries across every loadout.
- More loadouts: everyone has one. A 2nd costs 250,000 gold, a 3rd 1,000,000 and a 4th 25,000,000.
- To build a new one: switch to an empty loadout, then tap gear or trinkets in your bank to equip them.
- You can't switch loadouts in the middle of a fight.
Harbour Outfitter β
Sells the tier 1 (Tidecopper) tool for each of the 12 skills that use a tool. You can only buy a tool you don't already have. Once you own all 12, the Outfitter folds away. Better tools are smithed (tools).
Testnet
When the testnet playtest ends, gold, items and Trader standing are reset along with the rest of your progress.
